Regarding the bpv mine came with a blue spring installed, and a yellow and red packaged separately. I heard everyone was using the yellow (and some talk about a green too), but I didn't know if I should stick with the one pre-installed or not. A quick and dirty "squeeze" test had the yellow and blue very close in tension. They are the same gauge, but the blue has another coil or two. Is there a manual anywhere you've found? Thanks!
I found this thread helpful in selecting the proper spring for my Forge BPV (currently using the yellow).

With my intake (AEM) it's easy to hear every little movement it makes. To be honest, I'm considering going back to stock intake, as the noise is beginning to get old. Additionally, if it isn't really serving any purpose, it doesn't need to be there.
