I'm talking mainly FMIC's. But even on FMIC's I see the Dom 3's get crazy hot for some reason.
I'm not knocking them, I like this 3.5xtr but their housing are kind of rough from the casting process both inside and out. I wonder if some polishing on the inside of the compressor housing to remove some surface friction would help reduce the heat build up from the compressor?
It may just be the size of the housing because of it's location that causes the added heat.
