For sure, no problem. For my car it was pretty easy as there are just four bulbs that light up the cluster gauges. And superbrightleds.com had LEDs that were a direct swap, with no soldering or anything. Same thing for the boost gauge, but a smaller bulb.
If you goto the website they tell you which bulbs you need for your car, but I also double checked with other people's experiences on the forums.
I listed the bulbs I used a few posts back.
As far as the dimming, I haven't tried it but the website says they should still dim as normal.
And yea the stock color is green which is achieved by clear bulbs and blue condoms. As well as the gauge face being painted green on the back, I believe. I didn't mess with sanding the green paint off and it still looks great! No weird color as far as I can tell.
EDIT: A couple more notes...
In the above picture, you can see how well my (crappy) JVC double din headunit matches the color of the dash. But it has something like 30 colors to choose from, to match almost any interior haha.
Also, it hard to tell, but the HVAC lights have been replaced with LEDs. A huge difference, as one bulb (there are only 2 back there) was burned out so you really couldn't even see the controls at night.
I wanted to take before pics, but I already had the cluster out and didn't want to struggle putting it in for a picture, just to have to pull it back out again.
Here is a picture I stole, but shows what it looked like before
