Vision, It depends on insurance companies take on it.

My friend backed into a post at my house, called his insurance company and filed a claim. They told him as long as it wasn't on a public road, involving another vehicle, or any other type of collision, it would be considered comprehensive.

OP, if you want to know the true cost, go to a local reputable body shop and get an estimate, they are free. Weigh your options on either paying for it, living with it, or contacting your insurance agent to see what they have to say.
