Interesting read. To offer a bit to whomever - I drive a '12 LGT - stock VF54, low mount. Tuned by Cobb with upgraded TMIC and full exhaust - 278whp/334lbs torque. Sent my stock VF54 in to BNR for a Billet 18G upgrade in the stock housing. Of course I had to now upgrade fuel inject and pump - Back to Cobb for another tune. Now I'm at 315whp/353lbs torque. How much the "billet" wheel gave over a "normal" 18G? No clue. I'm to understand the billet weight allows for a faster spool up. Just trying to offer a bit.
