Your exactly right in some cases never said it didn't have warranty but in some states to validate manufacturers warranty mainly with the power train needs to be certified by a dealer on used cars.

That's when a dealer says it comes still with full manufacturers warranty they better put in writing. Salesman will say anything to make a sale but means nothing if they don't put in writing.
