New argument: "New Impreza doesn't get real-world numbers for me like other similarly rated cars."
I can live with this result. There's really nothing left to talk about.
Meanwhile, on a planet close to home, Consumer Reports continues, for a second year in a row, to recommend the car as a best pick in the small car marketplace, praising its excellent mpg's for an awd car.
Will some people still hate it? Obviously. Will it affect the resale value? Nope, more people pay attention to Consumer Reports than pay attention to the vocal minority who don't like the car they just bought.
At least they can resell it easily, and move on to something else (and another forum, one might think). We who like the car, and don't intend on trading it in immediately, will live on NASOIC long after they have gone. May they rest in peace.
