My clutch has been grabbing extra high lately, but doesn't slip at all. And because it's a hydraulic clutch, I can't adjust it. I was looking to replace my clutch this week. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a stage 3 clutch, just to avoid clutch problems as much as possible in the future. Car makes around 282 horse now. I don't plan on launching, or EVER dumping the clutch. Just need something more durable for a daily driven clutch. Think it's a bad idea to go straight to stage 3? And should I do the pressure plate too? Any help would be awesome. Like I said, clutch is grabbing extra high lately.
Not sure what a stage 3 clutch is, but I would recommend any "full" face clutch. No puck kind of clutch is needed. I'm putting 280 tq to the ground and use ACT HDSS clutch. I daily drive it along with , stage rally, and rally crosses. O and this is my 3rd clutch ever in the car, 2nd ACT. Bought car in 01 and have 180 ish K on the clock!!!!!
