Careful trying to start and run the car with missing grounds you can get all sorts of stray voltage running around. I cooked a MAF a long time ago because I missed a ground after my 6-speed swap (the person who took it off did not stick around for assembly) and the car barely started, was super rich and was just not right. after fixing the ground I found that the MAF had shorted out.
Check all your other grounds as well while you are at it.
