The subframe gets rusted out pretty bad in the snow belt.

If a bolt breaks off, you use an EZ-OUT and re-tap / chase the hole while you drive around without a subframe for a while while your stainless bolts ship in from Fastenal. Then you install them with anti-seize so that doesn't happen again... Even paying for the EZ-OUT, taps and stainless bolts... it's cheaper than the dealer AND next time you'll actually be able to remove the bolts.
