I had 2 Fram oil filters split open during use on a previous car - pulled them out during an oil change and the filter material had completely torn, an inch long tear in each filter.
I don't care if they've gotten better, or if different models are better. For the same or similar price, i'll stick with Sub's Tokyo-Roki's. I'm in Canada and my dealership parts guy looked at me like I was a moron when I asked how long he'd have the Roki's on the shelf. The 3 parts guys behind the counter hadn't heard anything about the Honeywell filters.
