Controls and Vehicle Tuning Engineer
Development of active AWD control algorithms and calibration of vehicle performance.
Salary Position - standard 8-5 hours
Expect to work more or less than standard hours at times as work load varies with program timing and deadlines
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics (understeer/oversteer, yaw rate, friction circle, axle and wheel loads, and the relationship between all of these and torque application to the rear axle)
Ability to convert vehicle dynamics concepts and equations into software code
Valid driver's license and ability to pass advanced driving certifications (position will require in-car work at test facility)
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink preferred. Any experience with calibration is a plus.
