So, I went down to Peoria Subaru to check out this Leggy,
and for its age/miles, it's in pretty good shape.
I had a nice, but short conversation with Bob about the issues in question.
$200 for a compression test is normal, but a lil on the high side,
and teh $1000 banjo bolt job was rather amusing.
Being in Sandy Eggo,
here's some pix of things I notice that you might not know about...
...Missing clips in the rear fender liners on both sides, faded paint in the scoop (might buff out),
cloudy headlights (fixable), door dings here & there,
looks as though the 50-60% tread front tires have been rotated to the rear,
paint is chipped in the passenger corner of the hood,
and the TMIC has a dent in it.
In my younger days, I used to frequent FAT a lot,
and then I eventually was teh Manager for the year of 2010.
While I was there, I got to meet,
and befriended a good amount of the past Techs there.
Chris (former Tech for FAT) is now working at Peoria Subaru,
and I would trust him with any of my eleventeen Scoobies.
So, if you're interested in the LGT, I could arrange for him to handle the car, and no one else.
Let me know what you want to do and I'll set it up with Chris.
