I posted this in the regular tire/wheel fit thread but didn't get any answers. I then came across this thread and am hoping it's more help. I've read through almost all of the pages, but have a few left. Here is my setup and what I want to run.
model: WRX Wagon
wheel model: Sparco Drift
wheel size/offset: 17x8 +48
tire brand/model: Hankook Ventus V12
tire size: 225/45/17
suspension: Tokico struts w/S-tech springs. AND STi control arms & lateral links so it's a lil' wider
alignment: Nothing special. Probably a little more camber in the rear for handling
fender mods: Rears are rolled
I've found plenty of people running close to what I want, but with my wider stance it throws a wrinkle into what I've been reading. I'm wanting to run 245/40R17's. I've mostly rolled my fenders with the bat method, and just ordered up an actual roller to get the lip flat and maybe a little pull.
I'm thinking of running -2/-2.5 camber rear/front respectively. From some quick measurements I'm really close. But Not close enough to drop cash for the tires.
Anyone running a setup like this that comment on that tire size? Or if you haven't ran, feel free to comment as well.
