I showed up looking for a 06/07 sti and the prices were unreasonable. All the cheap ones were beat on. I only found 2 in my price range with miles that I liked. In the end I paid 27k for my 2013 wrx because the performance imo was close enough and I couldn't find any hawkeye sti used under 25k with low miles. With the factory service package and all the model updates buying new was just a better deal. The resale value actually was a thorn. People wanted good coin for the used ones and I wasn't going to sign up for a 50k+ miles car just to save 3-5 grand. Dealers know what cars are money and tuner cars always sell. There is an 06 wrx sitting down the street from my house right now for 18k with 80k on the clock the guy wont budge.
