Possibly diesel (although with a diesel utility truck, I would want a little bit more ground clearance and rugged-ization. A sport truck with an -R should probably be a VR6 from the base Tuareg/Cayenne, with Cayenne's 6-speed stick and AWD.)
Small enough to fit in a garage, and a regular parking space.
Light enough to get decent mileage with moderate power.

Frankly, they should screw the Tiguan and CrossBlue non-coupe, and put a full-length roof SUV body on this, and price it under the Tuareg.
