the same reason you should keep the coolant lines hooked up to your throttle body. :sarcasm:

Put phenolic spacers to block heat but then just feed it up a different route via the coolant.

Air coming out of my I/C is about 80-90 deg depending on the weather and heat soak, but I wanna heat it up a little more right before it goes back into the engine.
