He already mailed his spreadsheets to the EPA while filing his formal complaint about the EPA mpg ratings for the new Impreza, because he is convinced that he has proved that Subaru somehow gamed the EPA testing results, and the CVT does not return the "promised" window sticker highway numbers.
Then all you "fools" come on this thread and post your good mpg's, showing that for many drivers the car (even with a CVT) meets or exceeds the estimated HWY numbers!
Can't you see how this makes the troll feel? Angry, very angry, and confused, very confused...
After all, what if in the process of their investigation, which I am sure the EPA is making priority number one (after getting those impressive spreadsheets cobbled together from Consumer Reports testing information -- only what they actually published, not all their data, mind you), they google "Impreza MPG" and find this thread?
