My main reason for doing it was because I needed somewhere to mount the IAT sensor to run SD and with a TMIC your kinda limited and at the same time you want to try and mount it where its less likely to get heat soaked. I still really want to get a plastic/composite style plate made thats o-ring'd and all to mount it. Another main thing is that I didnt really want to drill into my ETS TMIC so making a blockoff plate and tapping that was what I decided. I actually have a turbosmart TMIC BOV still sitting in my room but honestly im not worried or care about the *possible* reduced turbo life, either way its still going to last long enough especially with the big anti surge slots in the GTX compressor housings.

Anyways enough about the valves lol. Im planning to go back to the strip the next friday June 7th when they have it open to street cars and run a 10 sec pass. I think I would be the first WRX or STi in the 10s with the baby gt28 turbine if we can pull it off... Anyone know???
