yes, correct, i did had to cut out the 912 stock mounts, they hit the cover of the DOHC so i couldnt raise it high enough. If it were a sohc, it probably would have fit fine or if 911 mounts. if you mount from the rear, you will have to use a brace to Small Car Performance makes for their Van conversion. i elected to use the stock mount location and and motor mounts and just welded on supports to the chassis more forward. this gave me more room in the back for the turbo and exhaust components.
