Unhappy My battery drained, since trickle charging the headlights stopped working...

I have an HID kit that has a relay to the battery.

I left a cabin light on the other day and it drained the battery. after jumpstarting and trickle charging my lights will no longer turn on. My high beams work, my signals and blinkers work as well as my parking lights. the only thing not working is the head lights.

my battery is the battery that came with the car that i bought 4 years ago, could it be that the battery is no longer able to supply enough power to start the HID's? should I replace the battery? or would it not matter? I dont know if these batteries can get weaker with age.
