Ok, I know that there is some because of the design (blow-by), my car is almost 3 years old and the bottom of the TB is diry but doesn't look like oil. the inside of the couple is the same way (its greasy/oily to touch but not physical oil deposits).

I didn't think there is a ton of design in these things other than using baffles instead of the old steel wool designs.
