Also with the Legacy I can regularly beat the highway MPG value on trips, with the Impreza I got over the highway MPG number once. Ever.
The 2.0 looks decent on paper however it is a bad pairing in the car. Maybe it works out better for people that live on flat ground in the south.
I would gladly buy another Impreza if I could get one with a 2.5
I so miss the 2.5 and the non CVT trans. I agree that I would most likely see an improvement in MPGs in my situation.
