And now this is happening... Woops. So much for daily bash car huh... (It's actually a non turb EJ20D, but we'll gloss that over).
Story is, I went to go install a K-brace, but they don't play nice with N/A headers. So I tracked down a 250T fake up-pipe and down-pipe, and crossmember (same as turbo), and installed that. While I was in there I popped in some alloy control arms. Went to Install the u-pipe and it didn't play nice with the dizzy... Well, i'm not the kind of guy to renege and un-install a weekends worth of work, so out came the dizzy... then intake manifold... then I decided against 1.8 SOHC all together so the block came out too... Then I figured there's no point stopping there, so the trans came out too, then the dash and wiring loom... Now i'm putting a turbo loom in, have already got the manual in, and the 20D is waiting on me to do the wiring (i figure it's easier with the motor out) before that goes back in. All that for a K-brace. Yup, sounds about right.
