And face it, you are gonna get in it, maybe baby it for a few miles, but once you are away from mommy and daddy and with your buddies....That tach needle is gonna fly to redline in a few short seconds. And in that short few seconds, you just might get sideways (assuming how cold Alaska is and there very well may be wet or icy spots here and there) and when you start sliding out of control you are not going to know what to do. You'll be in straight shock and this is when you freeze up while your friends are screaming. Then next thing you know, your body and your friends are being pulled out of the wreckage that is the wrx you so wanted to get when you were 16 and had no experience driving anything of that caliber.
You need to remember, just because it is awd and theoretically "safe"... You will find yourself not being able to control it very quickly.
