This is typical. I know of so many people that such foolish decisions and it always ends poorly but I guess everyone needs to learn the hard way. Usually an event occurs where you will turn to credit to fix your car or get yet another shiny toy because you are unable to postpone the gratification. The hole will get a little deeper. Then something else will happen and now you are neck deep. By the time you know it, you will miss the payment and another and another. I don't know you and don't know what you do but $800 a month is nothing. You cannot live on your own off that and unless you have a concrete plan to significantly increase that income soon, you are already in trouble. The problem is that you sunk 50% of your money into something that is loosing value everyday and you have little money left to invest in something that will help get more money. All to drive something you want, not need. Sounds like you already made your mind so best of luck to you. I really hope you don't end up like many that I have seen do this did.
