Unless you have a leak in one of the seals, or damage to it......you don't need the whole thing. It's possible your IAC valve may not be working, or may need to be cleaned, but that can be replaced separately, if not cleaned up.

BTW, I can change the TB in my car in like 15-20 min. On your car, shouldn't take over an hour at the most.

I'd go to autozone, have them pull codes, it will probably be for the idle air control valve. Clean that puppy up, and reset the ECU.
