It did get started about 10:00-10:30 from what I recall. No big deal, other than I got there at 6:50 and was starting to freak out about 8:00 when no one showed up.
Attendance WAS minimal, but due to the lack of help/space, this may have been a good thing.
Thing I think would have made it a world better are
1. more people who know what they are doing.
2. more cars running
3. keep cars running untill just before the rall cars arrive.
On the first point, with a couple of extra people who have run events like this before, the tasks needed to be done could have been done quicker and better. this is needed to run more cars.
The last point I only bring up, because the stands filled and emptied more than once as people came, then got sick of waiting while nothing went on. I had fun showing some people the course later on, maybe if the rally runs late and people are willing, start offering rides to people(spectators) for a minimal fee? So the driver gets a fun run for free, and the event gets say $5 a head to experience a hot lap around the course. Then people in the stands would get to watch SOMETHING while waiting for the "real" cars to show.
And what I get nothing?? I KNEW I should have done my last 3 runs
