If you ran a 1 min flat, then that 1st place belongs to you. The SCCA guys have the cards, I'll certainly go by their rule. I have no doubt you're the better driver. I spent the first half of the day pushing the front end of my RS through the corners. It wasn't until the last set that I really started hauling gluteus maximus.
That's a damn nice run. The best pro run was 0.97 min (58.2 s). Most of them ran in the 1 min 1 s to 1 min 3 s range (from what the time keeper told me). Of course they only got one shot at it and they had been running for two days straight.
