well, it is cold air (well as cold as the air could be after flowing across a dark painted hood in Florida) but it feed from the hood scoop.

my '60 times always stayed consistant around 1.8-1.9, with a reaction time of .580

So I've done nothing to improve the flow of air beacause it's still the same diameter on the MAF?

I also was thinking of putting the back on the box and cut the pipe out ( so there isn't a turn in it) and having the pipe curver around to feed from the hood scoop, maybe an angled opening into the pipe?

oh and how bad is the turbulence over the scoop?? does it get enough ait into it or would a huge, hood-length, NACA vent be better?
