ALARMS? hahahahah I've known a couple thieves in L.A., only two thing stops them. Here's the kicker, they used to work for LoJack. They can get tha Lojack box out of almost any car in under 10 mins max. Thieves use a "stud sensor" style device to find it. Back to the two things - An awake owner with a gun, or a big freakin dog. I like the dog idea, cause I hate having to get up just to shoot someone. Leave him in your car. Thieves don't mess with cars that have Rotweilers waiting to eat them inside. They move on down the street to find one that isn't "occupied". I never really wooried about my car being stolen, because in West L.A., there are about 10 crews (i.e. professionals, not crack heads) that operate on the westside, and I know where 9 of them chop and fence. They could also care less about Subarus too. Even if they took my car, I would more than likely be able to find where it is (or where the parts are getting sold).
