These are the best snowtires (non-studded) I have ever used on the snow (especially considering the winter we had last year). Powder, slush or ice, these things handled like champs. You could easily get the car sideways when wanted, but as soon as you let off the gas, the car straightens right out. Not great on dry pavement, would keep it under 80 mph, but not much road noise, and no squealing during hard cornering. I would say a little pricey, but these bad boys got me out of quite a few jams (and saved me from hitting a guard rail (3 times in 3 different spots on the same road) while driving down a steep hill on an ice covered road.

Oh, and they have the "severe snow conditions" or whatever its called rating.
