That's exactly what I was looking for. I used to own a 420WHP DSM. There were quite a few guys that did this, however most of them just crushed it a little. I did initially. That damned thing held 24psi with no leaking or driveability issues. Plus it costs nothing to do. Just don't crush it too much. If you do, it will no longer seal. This is what I would do, the 1G dsm BOV and WRX BOV are identical other than the flange used for mounting.
