Well thanks Andy, now I'm TOTALLY confused. The noise migration was something that I hadn't considered. Has anyone else's experience paralleled Andy's. That alone might make the midpipe worth it, since around 85-90 mph, I get some drone in the cabin.

Not that I would advocate anyone's driving that fast, your mileage may vary, this is not a toy, close cover before striking, etc...

I suppose the best solution is to give it a try and see what happens. It's only $125, after all.
