It can't be much warmer in CT this week than NJ. One of the safety fetures built into the AC keeps the compresser from comming on when it is cold eneugh that you would otherwise get a slug of liquid rather than gasious refrigerant back to the compresser and distroy it. Try swiching to 100% outside air to dry off the windows. Heating outside air to the max should make it popcorn dry.
