okay, i measured the distance when the trans. linkage was in 1rst gear which i believe is the closest point to touching the surround plate and tunnel.

was in 1rst gear and was touching the metal surround plate and measured distance of height to place new mounting of center of the bushing housing. at this position i had about 1/8 to 1/4" of space before hitting the tunnel under the metal surround.

so if it does hit the metal surround barely i will be able to trim the surround, like most people with other levers have to usually do anyway.

i believe that my height of the center of the bushing housing is pretty darn close to exact as the kartboy/cobb/etc. (but mine removes the angle of shaft with a straight shaft exactly like the Cobb and imprezars.com lever does)

it looks like my design is pretty darn close to replicating them, but i added a few more features to mine.

i do want to say i am in no way going to produce the lever for anyone but myself people are free to use my design if they want. i in no way want to take away from the market, but just want something else that i made myself.
