Actually, I am running a MY 98 car with a EJ22T "short" block (very short), with 98 DOHC heads, Minnam Stage II @ 0.7 bar everyday use, "occational" 1 bar use.
The best thing to do would be to use the 2.5 heads and intake manifold with all your sensors adapted to it. Also, for ANYTHING over 7 psi slap the FPR and upgraded pump into it, as well as fuel lines. The MY 98 lines feeding the injectors are WAY too small to sustain 7 psi + for any long period of time. (Like 1st through 5th WOT). The stock fuel pressure regulator also has a restrictor in it that reduces the ID to about 2.5mm! So I don't care if you have a 500 gal a sec pump, it aint gonna flow past that sluce gate!!
