Currently I have a dyno-tuned map by the guys at TurboXs for my setup using the stock airbox and Sti 550cc injectors. I am planning on doing the "injector mod" to bump the Sti's up to 740cc as well as adding a short ram intake.
I'm a newb when it comes to the UTEC even though I've had it a year or so. I just havent had the time to mess with it nor had the need since I was dyno tuned. Problem is, with the addition of the 740cc and the intake I will need another tune.
I will have access to a wide-band and EGT gauge and some flat clear roads to tune on but I need some insight as to the tuning portion.
Can anyone tell me some pointers as far as where to start once I install the injectors and intake? I'm assuming the intake will help lean the extra fuel out somewhat but I am worried about having too much fuel on idle and the midrange.
Sorry for the newb question but I'd rather hurt my pride alittle than have a crappy running car.
