.... why not just use the integrated utec shift light?? I think that the motec one might just use tach signal. So, it probably has nothing to do with the UTEC. Just find the wire that comes off the ECU that contains the tach signal and T into it. But, instead of spending money on that shift light... unless you want to... just wire up some LEDs to the utec and use them.
