My car did that before at 65k MI, so I got new sparkplug wires and no more hesitation. Seeing that you are at 160,000km it might be about that time for you also. I also noticed that when it rains faulty plug wires show their wear by arches of electricity near the plugs and the block. Hope this helps.

BTW how much was the new coil pack and how was the install?
