Axis Power Racing just tore down a UDSM 2.5 STi motor, and
had the pistons analyzed. Here's what they said: "It's a cast
piston. I took it to CP and had them check it out and that's what they
me. They couldn't tell if it was hyper or just plain cast but it's def.
forged." Can you please check with someone in engineering, and clarify
issue for me. I love the car, but need to have correct information. I
bought the vehicle based on information provided at the Subaru website.
