I am new (sort of) to the RMIC, at least I havent posted here in a long time. Just got my wrx dyno tuned over at Mac Autosports and after a few runs laid down 272.3 whp and 292.4 torque. I am running Stage 4 with a FMIC at about 19psi. It was doing great on the dyno, knocking slightly from 4200-4700 but we thought we had it fixed...then I drive back to Boulder and knock knock knock from 4200-4700. I need to go back and have them play with the timing, as its basically still on the stock ECU. It seems to only be knocking with a lot of load on the car when it running relatively hot, as it was only knocking on the highway in 4th and 5th gears. I stopped to get dinner, went for a drive again and 1-3 gears the car didnt knock once even at 42-4700 (didnt get into 4th or 5th). Either way, I will go back and play with timing...I am very happy with the results even with a slight knock. The tune brought my peak torque from 243-->292, so it was well worht it. Paid $140 for an hour tune. Good guys over there!
