Did the install this weekend. Hardest part was getting the damn shifter into the socket. I hit it with my palm on the shift knob and a hammer on a piece of wood. It would not go in. The stock shifter would go in and out easily. I ended up taking a dremel and slightly grinding down the ball. Still had to bang the heck out of it to get it in. I haven't done the bushings yet, but like the shorter throws of the shifter. The shifter itself takes some of the rubbery feel out of the linkage.
