I wasn't worried about the good whack, I just didn't have a big enuff FH Maybe since I've only got 500 miles on the car it hasn't loosened up enough. I almost gave up since the stock shifter went back in so easily. Oh well, it's in now and my palm and other hand are nice an bruised. I missed with a couple whacks .
