Turbo-ling cars, my manual and CD says 60k for the plugs.
I'm changing them anyways at 30k just because I want to see what they look like at 30; plus they might be a little easier to break loose at 30 than at 60k.
Other than a little lighter wallet and maybe a skinned knuckle, it won't hurt to do so early.
