The fiancee needed something other than her 85 Accord Hatchback (w/170K) so she was to get my 93 Saturn SL2 (124hp :P ) and I was to get one of the following
00 Nissan X-terra (marketed right at me) - no 5-spd w/ 6 cyl readily available
00 VW Jetta 1.8T - nice and plush and trendy. 150hp was a little too low for the price and chipped + void warrenty? nope
00 RS - Loved it - too little room.
00 GT - Sales rep (Peg Emge @ Jones Subaru, Bel Air, MD) let me borrow the car for over 24 hrs. Car was a blast and handled like a dream! Didnt like limited w/ leather.
Asked for - leather +BGP +spoiler +sunroof and it [GT] was Dealer-xed to Jones 1 week later.
woot!
All she needs now is a turbo. That should take care of a few car payments after the car is payed off.
