Just run the a/c button, even when in heater mode, and make sure to turn off recirculate. Its the biggest mistake most people make, they leave the recirculate switch on. Read the manual, it says not to leave it on, only use it to quickly cool the interior. I think its on the air flow rotary switch too, a reminder to have fresh air on during defogging.
