HPDE at Phoenix International Raceway roval yesterday, 4 sessions of about 20 minutes each.
Total of about 90 racing miles, used up 15 gallons of 101 @ $4.75 gallon
temperature: 80 (morning), 101 (afternoon)
Suspension: Eibach springs, Whiteline sway bars f/r with rear set to middle adjustment.
Fastest lap each session was my second, so the tires are likely going away when hot. Brakes took a bit of getting used to, but they remained firm and steady throughout.
Setup was easily controlled. Just a tad of initial understeer, with throttle-on neutral. Lifting at maximum lateral adhesion tucked the front in, no drama there. Shift point from 4-5 on the oval happened to be at the exit of the fastest corner. Car was not upset at all by the shift. Top speed of 120 just before diving into the infield.
Saw 1.21g on my G2 meter, with steady-state cornering around .95g, and .8g on the slightly banked oval portion (recorded on video). I'll try to get a few laps of video up.
