That's awkward. I talked to my person and he said that if it isn't timed, and you have an instructor in the car it will be covered. I know someone who was covered because he had an instructor (or the school said he did) in the car with him. Its got to be classified as a high performance driving school though, can't just be a track day. That might be the difference.
Same thing with my State Farm agent. HPDE and any event which is untimed, and for which instructors are present, is OK. Anything involving timing is not, even though instructors may be present.
