Question Cusco Zero-2Rs (with Hoosiers coming in a few weeks)

With just a bit over a year of local auto-x, I run SM with good power, stock struts, and decent street tires. I know there's a lot more to learn from driving and EVO schools. I still want a faster setup for my car.

I've just bought coilovers and am preparing for the installation. A reputable shop will do this. I'm trying to figure out what to ask for.

I've read that a ride height of 13.5"+ (from fender to hub center) is good. 13" or lower is too low. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

After the height is set, I guess they'll pull out the scales. What sort of results should I look for? What's ideal? What's too far off?

Should I have another adjustment for height and weight after the springs have settled? If so, how long should I wait? (I drive ~350 city/suburb/highway miles a week; auto-x once a month with a 2 driver car.)

When it comes to the alignment, how long should I wait? Can I get a good alignment even from someone who's skillful but won't adjust the ride height and corner weights? (Yes, I already have a good idea what street and auto-x settings are good.)

Is there anything else I should consider in setting up my daily driver/local auto-x fun car's new coilovers?

Thanks,
JD
